5 Things on Friday

Happy Friday to you all!!




Here are some of my favorites from this week!


1.  I ordered these blankets from Amazon.  I am going to put them away for Christmas gifts.  You get two blankets for $20.00. They have not arrived yet, but hopefully the quality will not be to bad for the price.

2. I was looking for a short sleeve shirt that is longer in the back and I came across this one at Gap.  I love the comfortable material.  This weekend you can get 40% off, so that makes the shirt only $18.00.  Gap had this same style shirt last year, and it sold out quickly. I got this shirt in the navy/white stripe, and I am thinking about ordering the red/white stripe as well.

3. Speaking of Gap, what about this dress? It looks so comfortable! I am sure by now you can tell I am really into stripes right now!

4. I love good pens. If would write with a marker all the time if I could, but it is just not practically because I do not like when the ink bleeds to the other side of the paper.  I have found these Paper Mates that are pretty good. I love the multi color pack.

5.  If you love cookies, you should try the ones at Subway.  There White Chocolate Macadamia Nut are my favorite with Classic Chocolate Chip in close second! I have been known to stop at Subway just for a cookie!

5 Things on Friday


1.  This week I have cooked four recipes from The Skinny Taste Cookbook and they were all so good. I highly recommend this cookbook.

2.  I ordered my S'well bottle this week, but have not received it in the mail yet.  I am so excited to get it, I have heard great things. I ordered the 25 oz in Peridot.

3. I have had the Fitbit Flex since Christmas, but I decided to upgrade to the Fitbit Charge HR for the heart rate monitor.  It has made me realize that I definitely need to move more during the day.

4. Nike 'Internationalist' Sneakers - I bought these from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.  I love them so far.

5.  I also ordered these boots from the Nordstrom Sale.  I got the wide calf because my calf is REALLY wide.  They actually fit me which is hard to find in a boot!

This Weekend... Declutter The House

This weekend my goal is to organize our house (or at least start it.)  We have so many extra items that we never use.  I am definitely a person who likes to hold on to everything, but there comes a point to were it is just to much. Things I Am Loving

It has been awhile since I have posted.  A lot has happened in the last couple of months.  Where does the time go?

1. Barrington Gifts - St. Anne Tote - They have so many cute patterns and colors.  I love them all!

Things I am Loving

I am so happy it has been nice and warm this weekend.  Here are a few things I enjoyed using/wearing:


1.

Dr.Dennis Gross Skincare Glow Pads

These are amazing.  I have very pale skin, and the first time I used this I think I put on a little to much and my face was really dark.  Since then I make sure to only put one coat on and it seems to be the perfect amount.  I love the glow it adds to your skin. Each application will last a couple of days.

Tory Burch Miller Sandal

I bought my Tory Burch Miller Sandals back in November when they were on sale, so this was the first chance I had to wear them. I love them!

I did it!

On Monday, I showed you a couple of duvets I was considering for our master bedroom.  I had the chance to go to Pottery Barn on Wednesday, and I actually bought bedding. However, it was not anything I thought I would actually buy from looking at the website.  I bought this quilt:

Looking at this picture online, I never would have thought I would like this in person.  I love it though! It looks like little pom poms all over the quilt.  Right now I paired it with my Duncan striped duvet, but I am still looking into which duvet to purchase from my post on Monday!

New Bedding

When we got married over 5 years ago, we ordered the Pottery Barn Duncan Stripe bedding.





I am thinking that it is time for a change. I am thinking I would like a white quilt to cover the bed, and then have a duvet that can be folded at the foot of the bed.  Here are some of the options I am considering from Pottery Barn:
